Re: Bug reports- Export overwriting error- vertex window

another window bug I found today- kinda how the vertex window doesn't clear from memory properly if swapping to a different creature project, the skin swapping window does this too. Generally just trying to change skins fixes it so I didn't feel much need to report it, but today I actually had it gl...

Re: Export overwriting error.

Also, not sure if you know- When loading between different projects that both use vertex attachments without first closing out creature and having the vertex window open- it will keep the vertex window open but list the vertexes from the previous project. To fix I have to close and re-open the verte...

Bug reports- Export overwriting error- vertex window

Currently if you make changes to a creature file you have already exported it out before and go to export it out again- you have to delete the old export folder or use a new name cause it doesn't know how to overwrite I guess. It brings up and error box saying you don't have permission. Could this g...

Re: Animation mesh reduction

Yeah I was trying that too before posting this, no luck there. Alright, it's what I feared, thanks for the crazy fast response though. All these issues are my fault anyways, I used too many dang triangles when I was new to creature. Folks- if you don't need something to flex- don't use 200 triangles...

Animation mesh reduction

Quick question for you Chong- Animation mesh reduction on export cuts chuncks of corners but only on some regions. It looks like the regions I scale up in size that get the most cut on corners. Not sure if this is a bug or just a limitation. From your demonstration video on this feature, it looks li...

Re: Animation and saved Window ui requests

Thank you for the latest patch which addressed the skin swapping windows. It works good, and I like how you chose to implement it. I hope you like my other request here about a new way to swap animations, and without having to pause too. Would definitely like to see that implemented someday as well....

Animation and saved Window ui requests

---- ANIMATION CLIPS WINDOW ---- You know how the skin swapping window, in animation mode- lets you change skins even while animation is playing? Just a nice simple left click of the mouse and it's done instantly, and the skin swap window stays open for easy access too. A wonderful convenience to be...

Re: Timeline improvement requests

Okay I had some more ideas on improving the timeline today. I still want to see the timeline zoom ui ignore left mouse clicks that were not initiated over it (I accidentally end up changing zoom somewhat frequently because of this issue) but now I am also wondering-- If we could get middle mouse or ...

Re: Bone Weight Shortcut in Animate Mode

That isn't what atticnote was asking. But I can see why you thought that because of the thread topic talking about "shortcut". He\she is asking for a way IN ANIMATION MODE, to select a bone and have a new option or way to warp into rig-mode bone weighting for that specific bone. That would be useful...

Re: [Important Feature Request] Export SkinSwaps into multiple Atlases

This thread does have me curious about something. Are we talking about skin swaps using too much memory? Or the cpu performance? Both? I got this character with lots of skin swap parts. We spam it in unreal engine to stress test. Like hundreds of characters... I notice that the performance (frames p...
