Animation with switching shoulders

Post by Snuux » Tue Feb 20, 2018 8:29 am

Hello. Thx for great tools and great tutorials!
Can I ask you, is there the possibility to do animation with the turn of the shoulder, when one shoulder alternates in turn with the other (in the first case, a piece of back is seen, in the second case a piece of the chest is visible)?

For example:

Hello,

Yes there are multiple ways to do it. A couple of ways:

1) Put in the different pieces together overlapping each other. Go to Region Mode when Animating, click on each region and you will see an "Opacity" track in the Keys/Knots Timeline. You can animate that to hide/show the region by keying opacity.

2) You can use Animated Region Ordering to move the draw order of the regions to accomplish a similar effect:

3) You can use Sprite Swapping to swap out the region(s);

I will say 1) is the easiest, followed by 2)

Cheers
