Currently, Creature3D supports import of characters from both GLTF and FBX file formats. The mesh and any potential bone rigging is imported from any of these assets. Animation import from these files will be supported in the future.
To import, in Animation Mode run: - File -> Import Character Model
Character Animation Export
Character export supports export of the character mesh, rig and animation ( baked out into keyframes ) in the following formats: GLTF and FBX.
To export, in Animation Mode run: - File -> Export Selected Character
Notes on Exporting
- For certain Game Engines like UE4, if your default animation does not exist, you can try duplicating the default animation by selecting the Character node and re-exporting again
