Hello,

Thanks for the great user report. Currently there is quite a bit of work improving the FBX export and improving the internal ( non visible ) hotkey system ( to allow for hotkeys to easily grow/shrink manual weight painting tools ). After that, there will be another quite lengthy work spent on upgrading the toolchain and some internal bug fixing. Will take a look at your request when there are the cycles.

Okay I had some more ideas on improving the timeline today.


I still want to see the timeline zoom ui ignore left mouse clicks that were not initiated over it (I accidentally end up changing zoom somewhat frequently because of this issue)
but now I am also wondering--

If we could get middle mouse or right mouse to enable auto panning mode on the timeline? The more you move the mouse the faster it pans to that direction (cause there isn't much space for moving the mouse down is why it should auto move I reckon). This would be a new way to scrub left and right on this timeline too.
