Yes, I understand. However, once assigned a number always stays occupied even if the according item is long removed. Maybe just adding a button that re-assigns the tag numbers to all items according to their order would be the best and safest approach. It's not very urgent, anyway, so take your time :)

The tag numbers are used as unique ids for animation sprite swapping so the track information itself ( as well as any dependencies ) will need to be accounted for, it's a bit more complicated than you think :)

So I will push out the other fixes first, the one you requested requires a bit more thought and investigation.
