Animation scale size in Unity

Post by joriooo » Mon Sep 16, 2019 10:54 pm

Hi there,
I would just like to check, if it's a common issue that when opening a Creature animation in Unity the animation is forcedly upscaled (usually at around 5x)?
As far as I tested, this issue has no correlation with the atlas or sprites size, or any of the export parameters in Creature.
Do you have any idea what could cause this to happen?

Thank you so much & keep up your awesome work!

Hello,

The scale size is not related to the atlas size, the atlases are scaled down to a relative unit size for proper mesh authoring. Everything in Creature is defined in world space ( just like many professional 3D authoring packages ).
However, you can tell the size of your character easily by going into Rig mode. There are 2 ruler bars ( vertical and horizontal ) which show you the true size of your character. You can also easily scale up/down the character by clicking on the rulers to size your character in order to fit the game engine of your choice. Hope this helps.

Cheers
