UE4 Swappable Inventory System

I saw the tutorial on swapping parts that is built into Creature, but what about doing this in UE4? Is it possible to build a complete inventory swapping system using the output from Creature. I am pretty familiar with Blueprint and thats what I use in UE4. I know there will be some hefty set up done there, but Im usually a 3d guy and Im wondering how it all works with the output from this software. Thanks!
