Importing boned/skinned FBX?

Post by Rampa » Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:06 am

Can we import our own boned/skinned FBX? I have not been able to.
Does it require the rigging/weighting be done within Creature3D?

You should be able to import in boned/skinned FBX characters. But it works much better with a clean rig. The bat character for example was imported with a fully boned + skinned FBX exported out from Blender. Animation import however is not currently supported.

You can also try out importing skinned GLTF characters from here:
https://github.com/KhronosGroup/glTF-Sa ... umMan/glTF

This works too.

What issues are you having?
You can message me privately and send a link to DropBox if you want. We can look into what the issue is with your sample asset. Use Dropbox or a link since the file will be large.

Thanks
