Any possibility of seeing Creature in Visual Novel Maker?

Visual Novel Maker currently has Live2D support for animated characters, and it would be great to have Creature as an option too!

I've absolutely no idea if that's possible, but here are a couple of links for you about the scripting support:

Looks interesting, any idea if they have working examples of rendering a mesh with points, indices and uvs?
That will be the key to getting Creature support into this engine.

Unfortunately I have no clue about any of that! I just thought that since there is Live2D support (which has some similarities with Creature from a user point of view in terms of creating animations - meshes, bones, multiple animations from one 'rig' etc) that it might be possible.

It does say a few replies down on https://steamcommunity.com/app/495480/d ... 399386576/ that the engine is completely open, so hopefully that would be helpful.

Hmm,
Actually I just took a look at the docs:

The closest I could find to any sort of mesh rendering API exposed for plugin devs is DrawQuad/DrawRect. Unfortunately this isn't quite enough to render an actual mesh. I am guessing for Live2D, they have actual in engine access with VisualNovel Maker to render the meshes.

Having said that, I am happy to open up a conversation with them if you want to start it their forum somewhere. I can definitely discuss with them how the Creature runtimes can be integrated into their system.
